AT LIFE'S DAWN (Rasamindrakotroka Andry Tiana)

(Nalaina tao amin'ny vetso.serasera.org)
At dawn’s first breath, a gentle light takes flight,
The sun begins to rise in silent, golden might.
Like a heart that stirs with longing yet unknown,
The light declares the life that now has just begun.

It climbs the sky in slow and sovereign grace,
As life moves forward, calm in time and space.
One spreads its brilliance on the waking earth,
The other seeks its path, its meaning and its worth.

When heavy clouds may veil its golden flame,
Life too is shadowed—never quite the same.
Yet while the sun still shines through stormy hours,
She learns to stand and grow through tempests' powers.

The sun, unshaken, marches toward its peak,
And life, with hope, the heights it dares to seek.
Each traces out a course through work and strain—
One lights the skies, the other dreams to reign.

"The fate of man is etched in unseen lines,
Inscribed within his palms since birth’s first signs.
But through his will, his trials, and defiance,
He carves his path with strength and self-reliance."
