NEVER CEASE TO PRAY (Rasamindrakotroka Andry Tiana)

Never cease to pray and seek,
while breath still lingers in your soul;
let goodness guide the path you speak,
and make it evermore your goal.

Never cease to pray each hour,
at dawn, at noon, when day grows dim,
your heart shall bloom like holy flower,
bathed in peace, a sacred hymn.

Never cease to pray and stand,
for foes may rise from near or far;
they strike from shadows or at hand,
to steal your light, obscure your star.

Never cease to pray, be still,
the time decreed will surely come;
what God has set, none ever can kill,
it’s not a tale, nor kingdom dumb.

Never cease to pray, repeat
these words like whispers from the skies;
for Satan roams with sword unsheathed,
to snare your soul with subtle lies.

Never cease to pray, you’ll see
a victor crowned, you shall remain;
and rest will come, so pure, so free,
at your Lord’s side, where peace shall reign.

Never cease to pray and know
your final home is not of clay:
you’ll live where streams eternal flow
your Father’s house, where none decay.
