THE LOVE (Rasamindrakotroka Andry Tiana)

Mbola tsisy niantsa

Hangataka antsa
(Nalaina tao amin'ny vetso.serasera.org)
Love, a word so gentle, tender in every stage,
reaching its height on the wedding day’s page.
Profound or degraded, depending who sees,
to be handled with care amidst life’s busy seas

Love, the union of two hearts that feel,
should only be touched if the bond is real.
In mutual respect, a lifelong bond to pursue.
Else, it’s a sin that bars heaven’s gate from view.

The love of a couple in their quiet nest,
building a home where their hearts find rest.
To forge a home built upon the rock,
unshaken by storms or life’s harsh shock.

The love of parents for children they raise,
a deep connection, no masks, no haze.
A nurturing haven for their growth’s embrace;
an anchor of warmth, not silence’s erase.

The love of children for those who came first,
a cord of respect, in both joy and thirst.
To recall and keep throughout the years so rife,
a pledge of kin, lore, worth, and not of strife.

The love of all natives for their land so grand,
subtle, fleeting, deep, changing like the sand.
Few ponder it now, in days so obscure ;
survival’s harsh grind leaves hearts less demure.

The love of God to save the humanity’s race,
He gave his Son, whom they crucified in disgrace,
To transform them into Christians born anew,
if such grace prevailed, what beauty would ensue!

Oh, “Love”, where are you? Absent or near?
All seek and hold you, precious and dear.
Be there to cradle us, and guide us always,
Not just for today, but through all our days.
