You and I, companions on the way,
Through years we walked, come what may;
Soul-bound siblings, friends so true,
And lovers, as the world once knew;
Never betrayed, nor led astray,
Like faithful hearts that choose to stay.

You and I have laboured side by side,
Through winding paths where trials abide;
On rugged roads where effort led,
And drove away the days we dread;
Seeking moments we could share,
To gather love with patient care.

You and I now turn with age,
With steady eyes toward life’s next page;
To face the blows of fate untamed,
Without defeat, without being shamed;
Still standing strong, without dismay,
Hand in hand, come what may.

You and I, even now, remain,
Though time has marked its quiet stain;
Our steadfast souls, a hidden grace,
Still dwell in faith, in time and place;
Nothing can break what we have tied,
A bond of love no force can divide.

You and I, the living sign,
Of love by God made yours and mine;
Through every trial, through passing years,
Still strong in hope, untouched by fears;
And evermore, our hearts are fed,
By trust and care where love is spread.
