A PLEA FOR FORGIVENESS OF SIN (Rasamindrakotroka Andry Tiana)

Lord, I come to You, beneath my heavy skies,
to confess the times I strayed from where truth lies.
Forgive my pride, my battles, storms and scars,
I sought for peace, yet lost You in the stars.

I walked in blindness, trampling on Your grace,
forgetting love that lit my darkest place.
My heart grew deaf to promises once sweet,
I veiled the world You laid beneath my feet.

But now I come, in tears, my spirit torn,
to You, so kind, so tender, though I mourn.
I grieve my sins, my faults I can't disguise,
receive my plea; in You, let strength arise.

Have mercy, Lord, on steps so weak, unsure,
come heal the wounds no human can endure.
Release me from the weight of shame and fear,
your boundless grace alone can draw me near.

Heal me, I suffer, my strength is a lie,
free me from silence where my sorrows lie.
Let mercy flow like rivers through my pain,
and wash these seeds of guilt with cleansing rain.

Return, O Lord, redeem my soul once more,
my whole repentant heart to You I pour.
Rekindle in me the fire of Your flame,
and help me walk forever in Your name.

In the name of the Father, the Source who transforms,
of the Son, the Lamb who bore my sins in storms,
and the Spirit, the Breeze who purifies and saves,
make this cry a prayer that echoes through the graves.

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
