A PRAYER FOR FORGIVENESS OF SINS (Rasamindrakotroka Andry Tiana)

Lord, I come to You, bowed low beneath my cloud,
To confess the moments when I strayed, unavowed;
Forgive my struggles, pride, and shipwrecked ways,
I sought for peace—yet lost You in my days.

I walked in darkness, blind to tender grace,
Forgetting love that once had filled my place;
My heart grew deaf to promises so true,
And veiled the world that You in mercy drew.

Yet I return, undone, with sorrowed heart,
To You whose goodness stands set far apart;
I mourn my faults, each failing I have known,
Receive my plea—make steadfast what has grown.

Have mercy on my steps, so weak, so worn,
Come heal my wounds, let strength in me be born;
Deliver me from burdens that oppress,
For only You can save in righteousness.

Heal me, I suffer—my strength is but a guise;
Deliver me from evil veiled in silent cries;
Let mercy flow, a river soft and wide,
And wash remorse that festers deep inside.

Return, O Lord, come free my captive soul,
I offer all—repentance makes me whole;
Restore in me the fire of Your embrace,
And I shall walk henceforth in truth and grace.

In the Father’s Name, the Source from whom all flows,
The Son, the Lamb who bore the weight of woes,
And the Holy Spirit, breath that gives us life,
Make this my prayer beyond all earthly strife.

In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
