Soul’s bright sparks, children, light of our days,
You are the words that our love softly says;
In you lives the wonder of worlds made anew,
And your names alone give life its truest hue.

Soul’s bright sparks, treasures love holds close,
For you, our vigils are gentle repose;
Our hands seek gold in tomorrow’s embrace,
And nights of labour turn to songs of grace.

Soul’s bright sparks, though harsh winds may rise,
God will not leave you nor close His eyes;
He will send angels, tender and near,
To guard your hearts from sorrow and fear.

Soul’s bright sparks, one day you will say,
With hearts full of love, in your own way:
“Children of our hearts, for you we stand,
With heads held high, we will guard your land.”
