BELIEVE IN YOUR OWN STRENGTH (Rasamindrakotroka Andry Tiana)

When we recall the days, both present and past,
the spirit flies onward, too swift to hold fast;
in the deep echo of memories long gone,
return all the moments, the sorrow, the dawn.

When the hour arrives and aid must be sought,
the closest may falter, with silence distraught;
weighed down themselves by the burdens of earth,
bewildered, surprised by life’s endless worth.

Some voices once whispered: “Dear friend, I am near,”
yet danger approached, and they fled out of fear;
their hearts, uncertain, refused to stay strong,
like hesitant steps that cannot walk long.

So where shall you turn with your cries, with your plea?
Who will carry your burden, your light, set you free?
Do not wait for others, uncertain, untrue,
the strength and the path lie only in you.

The lesson is clear, in trial’s bright flame:
success is but courage that dares to proclaim.
Do not stand idle, in waiting remain,
for true support always springs forth from your hands
