WHERE ARE THE ONES WHO ONCE STOOD TALL? (Rasamindrakotroka Andry Tiana)

Where are the ones who once stood tall,
the voices that rose to guide us all?
Now all feels hollow, slipping away,
just silence left where hope would stay.

Where are the hands that used to build,
as walls collapse and dreams are stilled?
The ground gives way, the lakes run dry,
and heavy hearts can only sigh.

Where are the minds that lit the skies,
who saw the truth through hidden lies?
No guardians now for fields so wide—
just nature left, with none beside.

Where are the ones who gave us light,
in this land once proud, once burning bright?
The riches vanish, hunger grows,
and sorrow walks where nothing flows.

Where are the wise, the parents dear,
who taught with love, not ruled by fear?
Their words ignored, their hopes dismissed,
a nation fading in the mist.

Wake up now, you who’ve been still,
don’t let our homeland break at will.
Even kings must rise or fall—
let's save this land before we lose it all.
