The shuddering thoughts sketching empty notes;
The lingering pain from annihilated dreams;
The naked sorrow of a fundless hope;
Behind the smile and the song, they scream …

With a sigh, I grieve the voice of yesterday;
And the pile of losses from those winless fights …
The peace I couldn’t find but I wanted to stay …
Giving my soul away to the weary, sad nights.

Oh, the lyrical screeching, echoing inside;
The sharp glances of a distant luck;
Haunting memories, now, deadly alive …
And in a stretching wait dwells my restless heart …
